We’re happy to announce that Jarrett Blair has started with the Marshall Lab! While Jarrett is originally from Southern Ontario, as you can see below he is rapidly acclimating to conditions in Vancouver. He brings a wealth of knowledge about biodiversity and innovative new ways to measure it.
Katie made it out to beautiful Birmingham last week for her very first British Ecological Society meeting. She was lucky enough to get a tour of Cambridge with JEB editor Kathryn Knight, who showed her Darwin’s collection of Cambridge beetles!
Skye and Katie both presented posters at the Entomological Society of America/Entomological Society of Canada/Entomological Society of British Columbia meeting in Vancouver this fall. Much entomological fun was had, especially with visits from collaborators and colleagues from far away.
The Marshall Lab is moving to the beautiful University of British Columbia this summer. Stay tuned for new photos, and a whole new lab.
It's summer and that's when professors start ticking off things from their To-Do list. Today, we finally got a lab website! Many more things to add, but for now we've at least got a home on the web.
